Some of you might remember the planned attack on
me and our ministry when we were getting ready to
build Theresa Faith Children's Home on January
14th. The children who were supposed to be in that
Home have been waiting for the past year as we
faced much opposition to build a Home for them.
We decided that these children will not be robbed of
their future. So, we have brought them to the
existing Home in Dehradun. For 15 hours, 58 children
traveled by bus from their untouchable villages in
Punjab. They arrived last night. We welcomed them
with open arms as they stepped down from the bus.
The kids ages ranged from 4-6 years old. I was so
happy that they had come to a place of HOPE. I was
also deeply touched to see that most had traveled
so far in just their bare feet; they had no slip-ons or
shoes. All came with just the clothes they had on
their back.
All these children are from untouchable families; the
outcastes of Hindu caste system in India. Their
families have the lowest menial jobs because they
are considered to be lower than animals due to their
caste status. Their children have no rights and
privileges and they just wait to continue the cycle
their families have been destined for many
generations.
At NIEA, we believe that every person is precious in
the sight of God and we have been called to reach
out to the untouchable communities of India. The
children will be taught the Word of God. They will
receive education and their basic needs will be met
at Faith Home.

As our friends and family in Christ, we ask that you
support us with your prayers and gifts to reach out
to these children.
Some of our immediate needs are:
1) Shoes, Socks, Sweaters, Jackets, Hats, Gloves,
etc. as winter in Dehradun can get cold.
2) School supplies: We need to buy school
uniforms for all 58 of them, text books, notebooks,
and stationeries.
3) Plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.
Please pray that all the children will adjust well
in their new Home. That all of them will understand
and know the love of Jesus in their lives.
Thank you so much for your compassion and
generosity.
Blessings,
Ashish Massey
