More than a hundred years ago, missionaries from America came to my people group, the Paite people. At that time, Paites were animists who lived on mountains bordering Myanmar in the East and China on the north. When the gospel was shared by the missionaries, our people, including my grandparents embraced the message and became Christians. I thank God for the step of faith the missionaries took to bring the message of hope to a people group that were on their way to condemnation.

Today, I firmly believe that God continues to work in the lives of children whose lives were shattered due to the tragic ethnic conflict in 1997 in Manipur. Like the missionaries who brought the gospel, there are people who continue to bring hope to those who are living without hope.

On March 26, 2007 we had a Dedication service for Lee Faith School by one of our ministry partners David Lee. It was a glorious moment as I watched all the children, staff, board members, church elders and friends standing in awe of God's faithfulness and provision for the children of Faith Home and Manipur.

I thank each one of you for the different ways in which you have supported us. I want to let you know that your prayers, visits, financial gifts, and encouragement are making a huge difference in the lives of many children in India.
