After 5 years of praying to have our own school, we ask you to join us in thanking God for answering our prayers. I am excited to share with you that God has made our dream to build our own school possible through the kindness and generosity of our dear friends, the Lee family, from the Chicago area. Our vision for Lee Faith School is that it will be a testimony of God's faithfulness to our children and that we may reach out to the community around us. We are committed to providing excellent education with Christian values in order to equip and empower our students' lives and the lives of those they will touch. We hope to complete school construction this year and welcome our first batch of students in Spring 2008.

Lee School

Faith Home, Manipur has been an amazing journey. When we welcomed the orphans to Faith Home in 2000, I didn't know that, along with the children, God would also be preparing me on this journey of Faith. I didn't think that I too would grow along with the children, emotionally and spiritually. As the children faced different and difficult challenges along the way, I too had to face my own trials and challenges. I have seen God's wonderful power in the children's lives. They have learned to forgive, love, and hope. Along with them, I also have learned to walk closer with God. When I reached the lowest point in my life, I sought Him just like the children did. I learned to trust Him when things ahead seemed hopeless and to love Him and those dear to me, above all else. I thought that God was going to use me to touch the children's lives, instead He used the children to change my life.

Today, I praise God for the 72 children and 7 staff at Faith Home, Manipur.

Our youngest children who were barely 3-4 years old are now studying in 4th grade. Our oldest girl, Nemkim, is now doing her B.A. Our second oldest girl Maman is doing her B.Th. We have 6 boys and 2 girls in 11th grade and these days we have 2 girls and 5 boys writing their 10th grade exams. The rest are in between and making tremendous progress.

We have 2 boys who have just been accepted to the Army. We are very happy for them.
