We thank God, you, and our donors for sharing their
gifts with North India Evangelistic Association. The
kids at Faith School and Home are doing well in their
health and studies. They pray for you daily during their
evening worship. They sing praises to the Lord for
His provisions. As I watch these children grow and
develop, I am inspired even more to expand our work
and take in more kids. (Please take a moment to
watch the video "Touched by an Untouchable"
on our website: www.childrenoffaith.org.) My
heart is to see these children empowered and
successful. We are praying for new buildings and
more space. I will be sharing more on this later.

Today, I am asking you to share our story with some
influential people in your community. This will open
doors for the expansion of our work among many
more children in this country where the need is so
great.
Many of our kids have come from crippling poverty and
have faced hunger daily. They were so
undernourished; it took us a while to help them
become healthy. This was all made possible because
of your financial generosity. There are still 57
million children in India that suffer from
malnutrition.
The article below by BBC on India's malnourished
children convinces me even more that empowering
them through education is very important. (Click on
link below.)

I want to share a letter I received from a close friend of
mine in Oklahoma City. He is a medical Doctor from a
Hindu background in India.
Dear Ashish and Khumi:
I admire the help you are rendering to the kids in India.
They are beautiful. Buddha had a negative mind. "Life
is suffering." What a pessimistic view of life. I would
say, "Suffering is a component of life." And the beat of
life goes on. Christianity presented a proactive side of
life. It is also a religion of civility, intellect and reason.
Dogmatic in some areas yet realistic and truthful. In
Christianity, there is suffering and joy. There is no
one like The Christ in the history of the
Cosmos and there will be none in the future.
I am glad I contribute in a humble way to help your
kids in India. You have a beautiful heart. The kids look
great. They are beautiful and healthy.
I shall be sending you some money (my humble
contribution) soon. Continue to work towards
starting a small college or a university. Do not rest my
friend.
Hope your health is OK.
Continue your good work. Work hard. Help all those
beautiful children.

As the month of February comes to an end, I noticed
that our food stock has gone down. We have two bags
of rice and a few bags of wheat flour for bread (roti). I
called Ruth at the office in Tulsa and found out we
have only a few hundred dollars in the NIEA account.
So, I prayed, like I always do. However this time, I
believe I need to give you an opportunity to sow into
our ministry so we can buy 100 bags of rice.
This will be 6,600 pounds of rice. This will
provide us with enough rice for the next six months.
A bag of rice cost about $10.

As we receive and hear from you, our little group of
kids will be praying a blessing in your life (Isaiah 58).
Please do send us your prayer requests.
Blessings,
Ashish Massey
